Naming Ceremony
A Baby Naming ceremony is arranged to celebrate the arrival and naming of a new baby. Often they are held at the same time as a 1st Birthday Party. It is a non-religious ceremony and is an alternative to a Church Christening or Baptism. It is a special and exciting time for your family to welcome your own child or an adoption and can be conducted at all ages.
I love performing Naming Day’s for very proud parents and especially those children of couples that I have married. You may decide to elect Godparents to guide your child through their lives. This is a special role and I will assist them with their chosen promises as well as a selection of readings. I will offer lots of ideas to assist in the planning of this important occasion.
I will provide a ’keep-sake' copy of your Ceremony and a Commemorative Name Certificate for you and your god parents.
Vow Renewals
A vow renewal is a way to celebrate your marriage. Perhaps you've made it to 2, 5, 10, 25 or 50 years together and you want the world to know you'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Maybe you want to reaffirm your commitment to each other after a rough period in your relationship.
It is also an opportunity for family and friends or even your original bridal party to participate and show their care and support. I will present you with a ‘keep-sake' copy of your Ceremony and a Commemorative Certificate signed by you and witnesses if you choose to have them. There is no legal requirement for this service.
